I have always been drawn to the nostalgic feel that film offers, and I believe this feeling comes from how film used to be utilized back when it was the only option for visualizing memories.

It’s not just the colors or the different formats that give film its charm. The memories of multiple generations of our families are on film, and what a beautiful thing it is to hold memories of your own in the same way.

For weddings and elopements, all travel within Colorado is included and all out-of-state and destination locations have a flat rate fee associated with typical costs for the location/region. For all sessions, a travel fee is added for any location outside of a 45 minute drive from Johnstown, Colorado. From there the fees are flat rates based on drive time. All scenarios for travel are different, so please reach out with specifics so I may quote you appropriately.

You will receive a preview gallery within 72 hours. My turnaround time for sessions is 2-3 weeks and weddings/elopements are 4-6 weeks.

I shoot with a camera that has dual memory card slots, allowing me to shoot on two cards simultaneously. This ensures there are two copies of your memories from the moment they're photographed. When I go home, I upload the images and back them up on an external drive, to the cloud, and keep a copy on one memory card until your gallery is delivered. Throughout the editing process, your images are backed up in three different places. Once your gallery is sent, I will store the RAW files on a singular hard drive.

I will remove blemishes, bruising, and/or scarring, but nothing else. Additionally, I never want to assume that anything on your body needs to be altered, so retouching is only done upon request either in the questionnaire I send before our shoot or on the day of. For the rest of the image, I’ll remove any distracting elements like signs, people, litter, etc. that I believe distracts or takes away from the storytelling of the photo.

During our time together, I’ll guide you by giving you something to do (ex. “sit where you’ll feel most comfortable and give each other tiny nose kisses”). The direction I provide will include lots of movement and will be open to interpretation so that the photos will represent who you two are together.

Every couple is different, and you can request as much or as little direction as you need. No matter what, I won’t redo real moments. There is a big difference between me telling you to “run around that pavilion again” versus “tell your partner that same thing again and make them laugh so I can get a different angle”. No faking moments here.

I have been shooting film for 3 years and jumped right into learning manual after buying a Canon ae-1 off of Marketplace. Over the years, I brought film cameras to countless sessions and multiple weddings to strengthen my skills as well as lean into the creativity that film offers. The one thing that really solidified that I wanted to add it to my services was truly understanding why I was so drawn to the beauty of film and the role it plays in my work. Because film can sometimes be unpredictable, I didn’t want to start offering it in my services until I knew I was fully confident in my abilities with it.
